At Dark Horse Equestrian we provide premium full care and individualized training for riders who value a program that prioritizes horse welfare. We recognize horses as intelligent, generous athletes who communicate through their behavior. We prioritize preventative care to ensure their physical and mental well being. Every horse in full care and training receives a comprehensive, customized plan. This is designed to support long term soundness, performance, and success.

Our approach moves beyond the mentality that all horses and students need to be trained the same. By identifying the unique needs of each horse and rider, we create a complete system. We love to watch partnerships develop with confidence and consistency over time. We believe this level of individualized attention supports excellence at home, in the show ring, and throughout the rider’s equestrian journey.

Lessons

We offer horseback riding lessons designed to build confident riders and well-rounded horsepeople.

Private Lesson (30 minutes): $80
One-on-one instruction tailored to your goals and skill level.

Group Lesson (60 minutes): $80
A supportive group setting that builds skills, consistency, and confidence.

Horsemanship Lesson (60 minutes): $75
Hands-on learning focused on practical skills and confidence handling horses.

• Free lunging / round pen work

• Lunging on a line

• Grooming and handling

• Tacking and untacking

• Bathing

• Wrapping (standing wraps, polos, etc.)

Training Services & Rates

Full Training Program – $1,300 / month (per horse)

Our training program is designed to provide consistency, structure, and complete support for both horse and rider.

Training Rides & Lessons – $800 / month

• Regular schooling rides and/or lessons

• Program tailored to the needs of the horse and rider

• Focus on correct basics, rideability, and progression

• Structured schedule to support consistency and development

Groom Service – $500 / month

• Turnouts

• Supplement feeding

• Lunging

• Grooming

• Wrapping

• EuroXciser

Stall / Board

Stall pricing is discussed upon inquiry.
Rates vary depending on stall type and availability.

Additional Services & Fees

Available upon request and billed separately:

• Body Clipping

• Blanketing

Program Notes

• Training horses are expected to be enrolled in the full training program for consistent care and development.

• All medications, supplements, and specialty care are billed at the owner’s expense if required.

• Pricing and services are subject to adjustment based on individual horse needs.
