Dark Horse Equestrian is a program grounded in natural horsemanship owned and operated by Mckenzie Collins and Corey Stein. Our training style is rooted in a classic hunt seat equitation foundation, which allows all levels of riders to expand their strengths. Through consistent guidance we offer a thoughtful, fundamentals driven approach. In our training we value intentionality in order to set short and long term goals. Our priority is riders’ growth; both at home and in the show ring.

We believe true horsemanship is imperative in the training process for both the horse and rider. We aim to build trust, communication, and responsibility on the ground for every horse and rider partnership. This comprehensive education allows a rider to be confident and prepared for competition. Our barn culture is calm, focused, and intentional.

We pride ourselves on creating an environment where excellence feels natural rather than forced. Our program is best suited for riders who value thoughtful instruction, consistency, and a long term approach to horsemanship.
